What is a custom email domain?: A custom email domain is the part after the @ that uses your business name. A business email domain such as yourbusiness.com.au lets you create addresses for staff and shared inboxes. We check your domain and help set up the email service and records it needs.
Is customised email different from corporate email?: These names often mean email that uses your own business domain. A corporate email address or company email address can be name@yourbusiness.com.au or a shared address such as accounts@yourbusiness.com.au. You do not need a large company to use one.
Can I have a personal business email address?: Yes. You can use an address in your own name, such as jane@yourbusiness.com.au, for your business work. We help set up your account on your computer and phone, with two-step verification.
Do I need both business email and a domain?: Yes, if you want your address to use your business name. The domain is the name you register. Email hosting provides your mailbox. These can come from different providers, and the fees are separate. We help you understand what you already have and what you need.
Can I keep my existing domain?: Usually, yes. You keep your domain and we point it at the new email service. We first check who holds the domain and whether we can get access.
What will it cost?: It depends on the provider you choose and how many people need email. Licence and hosting fees are charged by that provider. We will agree our own costs with you before work starts.
